Dracut Open Space and Recreation Survey

The Town of Dracut is asking for your input as we begin work to update our

Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP).

An OpenPicture of a white flower Space and Recreation Plan inventories current open space and recreation resources, identifies community needs, and outlines an action plan to meet those needs. The inventory will include open space and spaces used for hiking and other passive recreation. It will also include locations and programs that are more active, such as youth sports. The OSRP is updated every seven years to keep it current and ensure the Town remains eligible for grants available throughout the Commonwealth. Public input is key to updating the OSRP. The existing OSRP is from 2009 and is available on online for review and as background.

The primary focus of this survey is to gather additional insight on the Town's needs and goals in open space and recreation. We look forward to your feedback and involvement in this process. If you have any questions or comments not covered in this survey, please email Northern Middlesex Council of Governments Sustainability Planner, Daniela Garcia Moreno, or Dracut's Conservation Agent, Jaqueline Anderson.
