Dracut Street Paving Starts

The Department of Public Works has announced that they will be starting their milling and paving operations in many areas of Dracut, beginning on Monday, May 8th.

 Milling will start on Monday, May 8th at 7:am and paving will start on the 22nd of May, weather permitting.


This critical infrastructure project is expected to enhance the safety and quality of the roads in these areas and provide a smoother driving experience to motorists. Residents are encouraged to review the list of streets that will be affected by this project and plan their travel accordingly.

Some of the streets and areas that will be impacted by the milling and paving operations include:

  • Tennis Plaza
  • Wimbledon Xing
  • Hypine Ave (from Lakeview Ave to Mail House)
  • Arkansas Drive
  • K Street
  • M Street


While the milling and paving operations are underway, there will be some disruption to traffic flow, and residents are advised to exercise caution when traveling through these areas. The Department of Public Works has assured that they will do their best to minimize any inconvenience caused by the project and ensure that it is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
