Phil Thibault is all about building. Building homes. Building commercial structures. Building community.
He started Philippe Thibault Architect out of his Dracut home in 2007 and, about four years ago, started renting an office in the Enterprise Bank building at 1168 Lakeview Avenue. That was after working for firms based in Andover and Cambridge.
“I’ve designed everything from day-care centers to mausoleums, so I’ve got you covered from birth to death,” Phil says.
He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of
Technology and is registered in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Kentucky and Florida (where he helped to design the Wyvern Hotel). He also designs for multifamily housing, retail and office, restaurant, industrial, religious, institutional, and local, state and federal government.
“People ask me what my favorite project is, and I usually tell them the next one,” he says.
Many Dracut residents likely drive by his work every day, including the new Collinsville Crossing office park at Lakeview Avenue and Mammoth Road.
Phil has also volunteered his knowledge and services as a member of the Dracut Planning Board, Master Plan Committee, Permanent Building Committee, and as an alternative town representative on the Northern Middlesex Council of Governments.
