Daman and Sineth Kimerac aren’t rookies in the nail business. The Lowell residents once owned a salon in Billerica, but a growing family made them rethink that enterprise.
Now, they’re back in business, this time at 1500 Broadway Road in Dracut, and they’re hoping they really nailed it this time with the location of their D Nails & Spa. The space is in the same building as a Dunkin’ along a busy stretch of Broadway Road, about a quarter-mile from the Methuen line.
Dracut Economic Development held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for D Nails & Spa on January 7, 2025. D Nails opened on December 7, 2024.
The Kimaracs’ closed their Billerica salon in 2019, when Sineth was pregnant. Daman works in construction as an insulator and works all around the Boston area, and Sineth wanted to spend more time with their child. Angelina is now 5 and in prekindergarten, so they decided it was time to get back into the nail business.
One day, while they were driving down Broadway Road, Sineth noticed a sign advertising the vacant, 1,100-square-foot space.
“We drove by here and saw the vacancy sign, and my wife fell in love with the space,” Daman said. “Plus, it’s closer to home, only 10 minutes away.”
So if you’re looking for a nail salon to get your manicure or pedicure, or both, give D Nails & Spa a try. For more information, call 351-204-7084, or email Dnailsnspa@gmail.com.
