The Dracut Health Department is glad to now have prescription pill disposal pouches. If you, or someone you know, cannot drive to the police station kiosk then there is another alternative. You can now safely dispose of unwanted medications at home! Removing unwanted medications is very important, especially those containing opioids and other narcotics. Simply place the medications in the pouch then add water and seal it. Shake the pouch and safely place in your trash.
