The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will hold a Design Public Hearing to present plans for the proposed Lakeview Avenue corridor improvement project in Dracut.

When: Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM
Purpose: To share project details and gather public input. All feedback will be reviewed and considered.
Project Overview:
The project will improve pedestrian and bicycle access along Lakeview Avenue from Primrose Hill Road to Phineas Street (approx. 1.1 miles).
Planned work includes:
- New sidewalks where gaps exist
- ADA-compliant curb ramps
- Extended bicycle accommodations
- Roadway mill and overlay from Tennis Plaza Road to Phineas Street
Some property acquisitions and easements will be required. MassDOT’s land acquisition policies will be presented at the hearing.
