Community Development

The Community Development Director acts as the first point of contact for development proposals. The Director assesses proposals and advises the Planning Board and the Board of Selectmen on all applications for Special Permits and Site Plan approvals. Furthermore, the Director assists landowners, attorneys, engineers, real estate agents, and potential buyers in navigating the development process, collaborates with regional planning for policy and funding decisions, and provides support for the planning and economic development of the entire town.
