The Zoning Board of Appeals' responsibilities include hearing and deciding appeals for variances from the terms of the zoning by-law, comprehensive permits pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40B, Special Permits for alteration of one and two family homes pursuant to Zoning By-laws 2.16.26 and 2.16.26, and appeals of any action of the Building Inspector.
The Board consists of five (5) members and two (2) alternate members, appointed by the Town Manager.
Meeting Schedule
The Board generally meets the third Thursday of the month at 7PM in the Selectmen's Chambers on the Lower Level of Town Hall, 62 Arlington St, Dracut.
