AgeSpan (Formerly Elder Services)
AgeSpan remains dedicated to helping people in northeast Massachusetts maintain their highest levels of independence, health, and safety as they age. As a private, nonprofit agency, we serve as a trusted, impartial resource connecting people of all ages and abilities and their caregivers with impartial information, quality services, and vigorous advocacy. AgeSpan is one of 25 Massachusetts Aging Services Access Points (ASAP) and one of 21 Area Agencies on Aging (AAA). Learn more about AgeSpan!
Fuel Assistance
Assists eligible households pay their heating bills during the winter/spring season or until benefits are exhausted. Clients also receive various discounts such as telephone discounts, electric discounts, and gas and oil discounts.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels provides nutritionally balanced meals to elders. For more information call AgeSpan at 1 800-892-0890.
Memory Café
A memory café is a welcoming place for people with forgetfulness or other changes in their thinking and for their family and friends. Memory cafés meet at a variety of places including coffeehouses, museums, or community organizations. Find a Memory Café near you!

SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone)
SHINE provides free, impartial health insurance information for more information call 978-946-1374.
SNAP
SNAP is a federal nutrition program administered by the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) for Massachusetts residents. SNAP benefits include: Monthly funds on a debit-like EBT card to buy food.

Resources for Vets
We want to make sure our veterans are getting the best assistance possible, at the Senior Center you can speak to our Veteran Service Officer, Jerome Thomas, to get help with a variety of things. Contact the Veteran's Department or check them out online for more information on the resources you are entitled to as a veteran.
Report Elder Abuse
Report abuse/neglect of Persons with Disabilities or senior citizens committed by a caregiver, family, friend.
